The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Thursday 19 August 2010 at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall.   Many residents will be interested in the plans for the development of the Royal Hotel.  The plans can be viewed on South Lakeland District Council's website.  Enter the link www.southlakeland.gov.uk/fastweb/welcome.asp  and enter the application number SL/2010/0695 or enter Royal Hotel in the search box.
